The story of Phantomof the Opera revolves around a disfigured Phantom and his love for gorgeoussoprano, Christine! The beautiful show finely depicts the majesty and splendourof the Paris Opera House where the Phantom lives in a shadowy existence. He isashamed by his physical appearance and scares the backstage and public areas. Hefalls in love with a young chorus singer, Christine Daaé. Phantom transformsher into a star and asks her to be with him. But, when her lover rescued,Phantom is shattered and seeks revenge.

Andrew LloydWebber’s mesmerising score makes the show simply memorable, along withjaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects. The show simply toucheschord of heart as the tragic love saga is a completely memorable experience.

The role of Phantomis portrayed by Ben Lewis at the Her Majesty’s Theatre. He has also portrayedthe role in the original Australian production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sequelLove Never Dies. The show also features Kelly Mathieson as ‘Christine Daae’ andJeremy Taylor as ‘Raoul’.

The show,Phantom of the opera is the winner of more than 50 major theatre awards,including three Olivier Awards in the West End and seven Tonys on Broadway. Theshow also won Olivier Audience Award, voted by the public, in the 2016 LaurenceOlivier Awards. It has entered in the 31st year and has enjoyed 12,000 performances. Currently, the show is running in London, New York, Budapest,Stockholm and on tour in the US.
