Shaftesbury Theatre

Shaftesbury Theatre is located at 210, Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8DP.  On the famous Shaftesbury Avenue, Shaftesbury Theatre was the last theatre which was constructed. The original name of the theatre was The Princes Theatre. Year 1911 marked the debut of theatre. The theatre has witnessed mesmerizing performances from some of the popular actors since its birth. Some of the spectacular productions are hosted here. The theatre has become the largest independent theatre in the London Westend West End.

Being positioned on Shaftesbury Avenue, which is undoubtedly one of the busiest and most theatrical roads in London. The venue is also the abode of some theatres such as Apollo and Lyric. The venue also features wide range of brilliant and affordable restaurants and bars. They are located at a nearby distance from the theatre. The auditorium of Shaftesbury Theatre has astounding occupancy of 1400 people and spread across 3 large levels. The Stalls section is categorised into a front and back half by a large central aisle. The rear section is split into three blocks. However, seats in the rear half of the auditorium makes you away from the action. For those who want to be the part of action can go for the front of the rear section or towards the back of the front section. Here you would be able to catch the panoramic view of the stage.

The next section is The Royal Circle which is quite wide and steep and can enjoy good views from all rows. It is split into two blocks either side of a wide central aisle that curve around the shape of the balcony. Best views can be enjoyed towards the front, whereas if you go back then you can feel quite far away. The Grand Circle is categorised into three smaller sections. This section is quite far from the stage. But, you can enjoy decent views from the front seats and gives complete value for money.
